The Parent Teacher Association is an organisation run voluntarily by parents.  It consists of a Chair, a PA Committee and additional helpers, and it works closely with Class Reps.   The pupils are privileged to be part of a caring, inclusive and academic school, and the Parent Teacher Association embraces these values.

The main objectives of the PTA are to:

raise funds for the educational benefit and enjoyment of the pupils
raise funds for other charitable purposes

Joining the PTA

The PTA needs new members and helpers to run fund-raising events.   Many of us are working parents and have commitments, so any amount of time or effort is appreciated no matter how small it is. If you can help please email

The larger events need many helpers e.g. Summer Fair, Xmas Shop
The medium size events need teams of four/five people e.g. Tuck shop, Film night.
The smaller initiatives need teams of one/ two e.g. shopping for events.

Events

Examples of the fund-raising events which the PTA hold include the Summer Fair, Halloween Disco, Film Nights, Tuck Shops, Santa Shop, Quiz Night, Rag Bag, 2nd Hand Uniform sales, Christmas cards and mugs.

Examples of the recent purchases made by the PTA for the pupils include the buddy benches in both Junior and Infant playground; the climbing wall; the playground Fort; K’NEX Education Robotics and programming initiative; Learn Pads; educational games; internet software to research study topics; sports equipment and toys for creative play and role play.
