Football with Whyteleafe FC
Our new link with Whyteleafe Football Club is proving a great success, with our Under 11’s particularly benefitting from the sessions. On Monday, the squad went down to the Whyteleafe ground to train there during their games lesson. Opportunities such as this may well prove especially useful during next term when our own pitches tend to become waterlogged.

Pupils from Class 7 laid a wreath on behalf of the school during the Remembrance Service at Warlingham Green on Sunday, joining a number of other local groups and ex-servicemen taking part in this special occasion.
In their lessons they have been learning about the World Wars and it is fitting that the school joins with the local community to remember all those who gave their lives in conflict.

New School year
Welcome back to the new school year!
After a long summer holiday, it has been wonderful to hear about the exciting adventures of so many of you during the past weeks.
We are delighted that Mrs Shepherd is now taking on the role of class teacher for Class5. She will be adding to her task of running our highly successful Forest School by teaching English. I am certain that she will receive a warm welcome from her new class!
On the games field, we are currently discussing the possibility of working on a with Whyteleafe Football Club. This will allow a seamless transition from school football for those keen to make further progress in the sport. Whyteleafe FC are eager to be more associated with the local community and we are delighted to be one of the first schools involved.
