Our Admissions Process
Most children start with us in either the Nursery or Pre-School and continue through to Main School, others join in Reception or at any point up to Year 6. No matter what the time of entry, we ensure all children are made to feel welcome and supported.
To apply for a place, a School Registration Form must be completed and, in order to secure a place, sent with a non-refundable £150 registration fee. Once this has been received, if we have spaces in the relevant year, then a formal offer letter will be issued. In order to secure your child’s place, the acceptance form must be completed and a deposit of £500 is also required at this stage which will be refunded when a child leaves the school, subject to all outstanding fees and costs being up to date.
For entry from Years 1-6, pupils are considered subject to a satisfactory taster day and at the discretion of the Headteacher. For places in our Early Years classes (Nursery, Pre-School and Reception) there are no formal entrance tests. The Headteacher will also contact any previous schools which the child has attended.
Prospective pupils are invited to spend some time in school where they will have the opportunity to meet the other pupils in class and also to display their abilities. Parents will then discuss their child’s future prospects at the school with the Headteacher.
You are warmly invited to visit the school to see us in action. We hold termly Open Mornings, but we also strongly encourage individual visits with either the Headteacher or Nursery Manager as appropriate. Please contact the school office on 01883 626844 if you would like to come and meet us.
