We welcome children into our Nursery from their 2nd birthday. Our Nursery building is secure, bright and warm and is situated in the quiet and extensive grounds of the Warlingham Park School site.

The learning journey for our pupils begins in our Nursery. Here we encourage children to learn and develop at their own pace in a small and nurturing environment where our experienced and well-qualified staff value the importance of children as individuals.

We welcome children into our Nursery from their 2nd birthday. We do accept two-three year olds in nappies and are happy to assist them with toilet training while they are in their Nursery year.

We recognise that children are individuals. Our experienced and qualified Nursery staff pride themselves on providing a caring and friendly environment where children can learn and develop at their own pace. Through shared play and a well-planned programme of creative activities, the progress our Nursery children can make is impressive.

Warlingham Park Nursery children benefit from being able to use the indoor and outdoor facilities of Warlingham Park School, which include a well-stocked library, a large indoor hall/gym, a large outdoor playground and play area and a regularly tended vegetable garden. Children are also invited to watch the annual pre-school nativity play and join in with the main school on May Day to dance around the maypole.

Although we prefer to see our Nursery children progress through to Pre-School and beyond, it is not a pre-requisite of entry into the Nursery. For those who choose to continue into the school, government nursery grants for all three and four year olds can be applied for through the school to offset some of the fees.

From the Nursery most of our children move into Pre-School 1 in the term following their third birthday

Every parent/carer has the opportunity to be involved in their child’s learning, with termly parents evenings, regular musical events and coffee mornings and attendance at Sports Day.
