Wales Diary 2012 Day 1 & 2

CLASS 7 WALES ADVENTURE 2012
Monday 28th May 2012- DAY 1

Despite the efforts of the M25 to delay the start of this year's adventure, Class 7 arrived in Wales full of enthusiasm and anticipation. The town of Machynlleth still buzzed with the excitement of the Olympic Torch passing through this morning with the bunting being taken down as the children tested out the local playground.

Clare thought it had been an exciting day and the bedrooms were great. Charlotte was anxious at first but was thrilled to make it to Wales.

Tomorrow the action starts, so a tired party looked forward to their hot chocolate before bed!

Tuesday 29th May- DAY 2

After a good night's sleep, Class 7 tackled the challenge of the hooded adventure. Deprived of their sense of sight, they quickly gained confidence in their other senses. Sam and his shoes parted company and most ended up with wet feet!

At Animalarium, they were all fascinated handling the reptiles and enjoyed the various feeding times. The zoo was great according to Meg, but Emily discovered that some fences are not as strong as they look!

Supper was a BBQ on the sand while most of the party explored the dunes and the estuary.
