Welcome to our newest member of WPS. The school has adopted an orphaned elephant, living in the Nairobi Nature Reserve in Kenya. She is only seven months old – and growing fast!!

She fell down a large drain pipe when only three days old and was abandoned by her mother. She was rescued by a local herdsman, who looked after her until she could be taken to the orphanage. She will stay there until she is about three years old, when she will join other elephants in the reserve. We will be sent regular updates telling us about her progress as she grows up.
