BBC Choir of the Year
Apr 19, 2010 --

On Sunday 18th April 18 members of the WPS Junior choir, Mrs King, Mrs Chellingworth, Mr Donald, Mr Saxby (and guitar) and 6 parents went to The Anvil Theatre, Basingstoke to compete in the first round of BBC Choir of the Year 2010.

WPS Choir sang, accompanied brilliantly by Mr Saxby on the guitar, Simple Melody and Believe. The judges were impressed with WPS and gave very positive feedback, but The New Forrest Children's Choir won the Choir of the Day, putting them into the next round.
