Girls gain early successes

The first round of senior school entrance exam results has brought excellent news for our Class 7 girls.
We are delighted to hear that Farren Quinn has been offered a place at Old Palace and Megan Morley has impressed to be offered places at both Royal Russell and Croydon High. Cora Sexton has gone a step further and won our first ever scholarship to Croydon High. Not to be outdone, Carlie Hedmann stunned us all by gaining not just an academic scholarship, but also music and drama awards at Royal Russell.
A spectacular performance from all four girls - and well deserved after all the hard work they have put in during their lessons. Cora and Carlie's names will soon be placed on our Honours Board, which lists all those Class 7 pupils who have been awarded scholarships. (It is exciting to see that WPS is rapidly approaching its 50th scholarship award since 1996!).
Further results are expected in February.
