Girls from Warlingham Park School scored top marks in the recent Coulsdon and Purley Music Festival taking the top three positions in the Junior Vocal class.

Carlie Hedmann, Ella Donald, Emily Peckett and Charlotte King, all from Warlingham Park School, entered their first ever singing competition with Carlie Hedmann winning first prize and an honours certificate in the section.  The other girls were all awarded merits.  All the girls are members of the school choir which was awarded third place in the Junior Choir section for 11 years and under.

Mike Donald, Head Teacher of Warlingham Park School commented, “Our music department is really thriving and it is encouraging to see our pupils taking on more challenges with their singing.  It is wonderful to see the pupils getting so much enjoyment and confidence from performing at local events of this kind.”
