Pre-School Parents’ Coffee and Music and Movement
Pre-School parents, you are invited to watch your child take part in a music and movement session, this Friday 19th March at 9:20 am. After the children return to class coffee will be served. Do stay and have a chat.
WPS Cross Country
The annual inter-school competition has been re-arranged to take place NEXT Monday 22nd March. We have invited 15 other schools so parking on the playground between 1:30pm and 3:00pm will be very congested.
HELP URGENTLY NEEDED!
Saturday 27th March 10 am–12 noon
Parents’ needed to help prepare the Infants’ Garden for this year’s crop. Please see Mrs. Riviere or Mrs. Bird (or turn up on the day with your gloves and spade!).

Secondhand Uniform Sale
Friday 19th March in the morning during drop off time, 8:50–9:15 am
Class 1 visit Nepicar Farm
Last Thursday Class 1, Mrs. Beddingham and Mrs. King made the journey to Nepicar Farm near Sevenoaks for a lovely day out meeting the animals, including the new lambs, and had an exciting tractor ride!
Woodland Trust Trees
The Woodland Trust gave the school 30 saplings to plant. After Mr. Sexton prepared the holes for the trees, Classes 2 & 3 planted them. They are on the far side of the field, along the boundary fence. The type of trees that were planted were Hornbean, Rowan and Silver Birch.
A Surprise Visit!
Diamond the Pony made a surprise visit to WPS! He had heard the children had been learning about animals and decided to pop in to help. Pre-School, Class 1 and 2 enjoyed his lesson about ponies.
We hope he will come to visit again soon, maybe for some pony rides next time.
Tuck Shop Thursday not Friday!!
Last Tuck Shop will be Thursday 25th March and not the Friday as it is the last day of term. It will re-open on Fri 23rd April.

Results:
U9 Soccer tournament at Downside Lodge:
Won 1, Drew 1 and Lost 2 games. Had we won the last game, the team would have retained their tournament title! It was THAT close!!
