New Keyboard Studio
During the Summer holiday, the keyboards were installed and are now at home in their new studio. These will enable pupils of all ages to improve their composing and performing skills. We are grateful to the Friends of WPS for providing them.

Head Lice: We have been informed of Head Lice in the Infants school. Please check your child thoroughly for eggs and nits. We have nit combs for sale in the office at a cost of £1.50. Parents are reminded that if a child is found to have head-lice, we are required to send them home immediately.

School gates: Parents collecting children during school lesson hours, including lunch time, should use the front entrance when the school gates are closed.

Books for Schools: Vouchers are appearing once again in the Times and Sunday Times. A collecting box is available near the playground door.

Unwanted mobile phones: If parents have recently upgraded their mobile phones, unwanted ones can be used by the school to raise money. Please hand in any phones to the office.

St.Leonard’s Church: There will be a Harvest Festival Service at 11.15 on Sunday 20th September. A service for the remembrance of the departed will be on 25th October. Please bring a rose with the names of any loved ones you would like to be read out, on a label tied to the stem of the flower.

School lunches: Details of any special dietary requirements must be given handed in to the office in order for us to update our records.

Swimming: Lessons will be restarting for all junior classes on Wednesday 23rd September. However, exact times have yet to be confirmed. Details will follow as soon as possible.
