Red Nose Day Friday 13th March
To help raise money for Red Nose Day, we are inviting all the children to come to school wearing at least one red item of clothing ... or in their pyjamas!! All we ask is a contribution of at least £1 per child on the day. All money raised will go to the Red Nose appeal. The children will also be singing in the gym at 9.15. Parents are invited to stay and listen.
The Choir will also be helping Sainsbury’s raise money by singing at about 1.30pm in the Warlingham store. Do come and support them!
Congratulations:
Congratulations to the triumphant Under 9 Soccer team for winning the tournament at Downside Lodge School. The team were undefeated, winning three games and drawing the other two – without conceding a single goal!
Environmental Health Visit
On Thursday 12th February we had a surprise visit from the Environmental Health Department. They came to inspect our kitchen facilities and the Assessment Summary commented on our EXCELLENT PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES! We are very proud of this result.
Pick-up Times:
Parents of children in the Nursery and Pre-School are reminded that pick-up times are 12.15, 1.30 or 3.30. We ask you to be prompt and remind you to use the playground entrance at 12.15 and 1.30, not the front main school entrance.

Cereal Boxes:
We need large cereal boxes for use in the Infants and Junior school for use in Design Technology. If you have any please bring them to the school office.
Lost Property:
A mobile telephone headset has been found in the playground. Please see Helen Daly in the school office. Also found in the playground, a camouflage zip top, toddler size. Please find in the lost property box located on the wall, in the corridor to the right of the back entrance to the main school.
Return after sickness:
Please ensure that children do not return to school until at least 24 hours after any sickness bug.
