Warlingham Park School 5th March 2009
Red Nose Day Friday 13th March
To help raise money for Red Nose Day, we are inviting all the children to come to school wearing at least one red item of clothing ... or in their pyjamas!! All we ask is a contribution of at least £1 per child on the day. All money raised will go to the Red Nose appeal. The children will also be singing in the gym at 9.15. Parents are invited to stay and listen.
Environmental Health visit:
On Thursday 12th February we had a surprise visit from the Environmental Health Department. They came to inspect our Kitchen facilities and the Assessment Summery was: EXCELLENT PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES! We are very proud of this result.
Parents’ Evening:
This term’s Parents’ Evening is on Thursday 5th March between 7pm and 9pm. This is an informal evening where parents can talk to teachers and view examples of their children’s work. Mr Donald will be giving a talk about moving into the Junior school for parents in Class 3 at 8pm
Date Mistake:
Last week on the Newsletter we listed the last day of this term as being Thursday 26th March. The correct date is Friday 27th March.
Pick-up Times:
Parents of children in the Nursery and Pre-School are reminded that pick-up times are 12.15, 1.30 or 3.30. We ask you to be prompt and remind you to use the playground entrance at 12.15 and 1.30, not the front main school entrance.
Return after sickness:
Please ensure that children do not return to school until at least 24 hours after any sickness bug.
