Super Scholars
Congratulations go to our two super scholars in Class 7. Cora Sexton and Carlie Hedmann have excelled in their latest entrance exam results from Caterham School. Cora has been offered one of the top scholarships, whilst Carlie has been offered a Music scholarship. These are in addition to the awards gained already at Croydon High and Royal Russell respectively. The two girls have achieved a total of six scholarship offers between them!
Megan Morley has also been offered a place at Caterham to add to her places at Croydon High and Royal Russell.
Parents’ Evening:
This term’s Parents’ Evening is on Thursday 5th March between 7pm and 9pm. This is an informal evening where parents can talk to teachers and view examples of their children’s work. Mr Donald will be giving a talk about moving into the Junior school for parents in Class 3 at 8pm
Cross Country Event:
This week’s competition was an exciting event once again, with over 170 children taking part. Oakwood amd Laverock schools were the team winners. Sid Kerr was our leading boy and Cora Sexton led our girls home. Some of the highlights of the event are featured on our website.
Vouchers:
WPS is collecting vouchers for the Times and Sunday Times Books for Schools scheme, as well as the Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers. Please use the collecting boxes provided by the playground entrance, or hand vouchers in to the School Office.

Quiz Night:
Unfortunately due to lack of sufficient interest we have had to cancel the Quiz night that was arranged for this Friday evening. We will be rescheduling this event at a later date. Information to follow shortly.
