Warlingham Lantern Parade
Children in Classes 4, 5, 6 and 7 have been invited to sing carols at the official turning on of the Christmas lights at Warlingham Green on Saturday 15th November. We will be singing at 5.00pm after the lights are turned on at 4.45pm. Classes 6 and 7 will be making lanterns this week and will be joining the procession beforehand. All families are welcome to join us at this event.
Furniture upgrade: We will soon be upgrading the furniture in Class 4. This will include replacing the desks, making them surplus to requirement. If anyone would like a single or double desk please speak to Helen Daly, the School secretary, in the office as soon as possible.
Christmas party: Warlingham Rugby Club Friday 12th December. The initial response from those showing an interest in coming to the Christmas party has been good. However, we need all payments by Friday 14th November or we will be forced to cancel this event. Thank you to those who have handed in the reply slip but we now need the payment please. The cost is £15.00 per person and all friends and family over the age of 18 are welcome.
Choir Evening: The Choir are holding a special evening for all parents and friends on Friday 21st November. The evening start at 6.30pm and refreshments will be available.
Christmas Appeal: Shoeboxes for this year’s appeal need to be brought into school on Monday 17th November
Evacuees DVD: The DVD’s of The Evacuees are now available. Please contact Jacqui Sexton.
Wanted: Pre-School 1 would welcome any old clocks and watches – not necessarily in working order! Class 1 would like any used birthday/greeting cards.
Film Night: Come to see ‘Garfield’ (cert U) at Warlingham Park Cinema on Friday 14th November at 6.15pm. The cost is just £4.00 to include a drink and popcorn or crisps. Open to all pupils at the school. If you would like to come please sign up in the office. You may drop your child off, as adults will be on hand to supervise this event. Please pay on the night.
