Christmas Appeal
This year WPS will be supporting the Samaritan’s Purse ‘Operation Christmas Child’ appeal. All children are asked to fill a shoebox with small gifts to be distributed to children who are less fortunate than ours. Further details will be sent to parents shortly. The closing date for all shoeboxes will be Friday 14th November.
Prodigal Rock:
DVD’s are now available from Jacqui Sexton at £2.00 each. Please note that ‘The Evacuees’ will follow shortly, apologies for the delay.
Swimming:
Would children in Classes 4, 5, 6 and 7 please bring pyjamas to your next swimming lesson.
Nintendo DS:
A game card has been found on the playground. Please see Mrs Daly in the school office if you have lost one.
Parking:
On Thursday mornings P.E. lessons require the use of the Car Park from 9.15. Please make sure that you have vacated the area by this time.
Resources needed:
We need some net curtains for our Pre-School 1 classroom. If anyone has any that they no longer need we would be most grateful. Also, we need children’s umbrellas, polished pebbles and smooth glass pieces for use in the gardens.
Film Night:
Come to see ‘Garfield’ (cert U) at Warlingham Park Cinema on Friday 14th November at 6.15pm. The cost is just £4.00 to include a drink and popcorn or crisps. Open to all pupils at the school. If you would like to come please sign up in the office. You may drop your child off, as adults will be on hand to supervise this event.
Missing Sweatshirt:
Ben Donovan has lost his sweatshirt. His name is written on the label. If anyone finds it, please return it to the school office.
Sports 4 Schools sponsored exercise:
Please ensure that all sponsor money is returned to class teachers by Friday 7th November.
