WARLINGHAM PARK SCHOOL NEWSLETTER

Sports for Schools – Tuesday 14th October

WPS welcomes international gymnast, Danny Lawrence, for an afternoon’s gym challenge followed by a demonstration. Children should bring their completed sponsor forms to the session.

Money raised will be divided between the 2012 Olympic Appeal and WPS.


Dance Classes :
Linkside Studios are in their second year at Warlingham park offering ballet, modern and tap classes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for all ages. Miss Frazer tells us “We had a very successful show earlier in the year with all involved enjoying working in a theatre and I look forward to welcoming more pupils this year”.

School hours:
Parents are reminded that school opens at 8.50am, unless children are attending the Breakfast Club, or Early Club in the Library. School finishes at 3.30pm, unless children are in After school club.

After School activities:
Spaces are available in our After School activities on the following evenings and weekend:

Tuesday Soccer Club
Thursday Basketball, Dance
Friday Short Tennis, Dance
Saturday Dance
      
Driving on school premises:
Parents must drive slowly and responsibly at all times when on the school drive or playground.

Christmas Pantomime:
Peter Pan is showing at the Fairfield Halls. Jacqui Sexton is organising a group booking for December 19th at 4pm at a cost of £10.50 for adult and child tickets.

Persil samples: Some children will be coming home with samples of Persil products. This is part of a campaign in which we have been invited to take part.
