WARLINGHAM PARK SCHOOL NEWSLETTER Date: 2nd October 2008

Harvest Festival Service

This year’s Harvest Festival service will be on Thursday 9th October at 9.30am at All Saints’ Church, Warlingham. Pupils are asked to bring gifts of tins and packaged foods to the service, to be distributed to residents at local sheltered accommodation and the Nightwatch charity based in Croydon.

The Friends of Warlingham Park School A.G.M :
Monday 6th October 2008 at 8.00pm in the Sexton Hall. All parents are welcome to attend. If anyone is interested in joining the committee please contact Sarah Cave.

School hours:
Parents are reminded that school opens at 8.50am, unless children are attending the Breakfast Club, or Early Club in the Library. School finishes at 3.30pm, unless children are in After school club.

After School activities:
Spaces are available in our After School activities on the following evenings:

Tuesday Soccer Club
Thursday Basketball
Friday Short Tennis

Telephone Line:
The telephone system has been faulty for the past few days but is now fixed. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
      
Christmas Pantomime:
Peter Pan is showing at the Fairfield Halls with Brian Blessed as the villainous Captain Hook. Jacquie Sexton is organising a group booking. If anyone is interested please contact her a.s.a.p.

Tokens:
WPS is now collecting Morrison’s Let’s Grow vouchers. Please make sure that you ask for them in store when you shop and then hand them into the School Office.
