Warlingham Park School Newsletter - July 3rd 2008
Speech Day
This year’s Speech Day and End of Term Concert will take place on Monday 14th July at 1.45pm. The guest speaker will be Mrs Karen Mackenzie, who is the founder of the charity GAMble and former music advisor for Kent.
The Pre-School Musical Morning will take place on Thursday 10th July starting at 11.15am.
All parents are invited to join us for these special events.
Mufti Day this term will be tomorrow, Friday 4th July. Please bring bottles (preferably filled with alcoholic drinks) plus decorated jars filled with sweets and goodies. No school uniform that day!
Summer Garden Party: Saturday 12th July between 12noon and 3pm. Following the success of last year’s Fancy Dress competition, we shall be repeating the event this year. The theme will be the environment – so get thinking about those recycled outfits!!
Wanted: Empty squirty bottles! Please hand any in to the school Office – a collecting box will be left by the door. All will be revealed at the Garden Party on 12th July!
Scrap paper: Any colour, size or shape. (Old letter heads are ideal!) Please contact the School Office.
New website: The prototype version of the new site is available for all to view. It contains some new photos, including the Informal Concert. We would welcome any comments or suggestions.
